11. Woah! Why haven't the German and Japanese national teams got any real players? Also, why do the Dutch always have the same squad?
As provided by Malady.
Dude/dette, calm down. SI don't own the rights for these teams so they can't sell the game with fully functioning squads straight out of the box. There is however a way out of this, let me show you the way to the promised land.
Normal people delete all the files in these folder:
C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\data\db\1100\lnc\all
C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\data\updates\update-1110\db\1110\lnc\all
and the fake.inc and team_holland.ddt from here:
C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\data\db\1100\edt
C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\data\updates\update-1100\db\1100\edt
Steam weirdos delete all the files in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Football Manager 2011\data\db\1100\lnc\all
C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Football Manager 2011\data\updates\update-1100\db\1100\lnc\all
and the fake.inc and team_holland.ddt from here:
C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Football Manager 2011\data\db\1100\edt
C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\\Football Manager 2011\data\updates\update-1100\db\1100\edt
You will also need to delete the same files for each new patch that is installed. These will be at similar links to the above but with the path, for example:
C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\data\db\1120\edt
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2011\data\updates\update-1120\db\1120\edt
Then, when you start a new game, they'll all be okay! Isn't that just super?
Please be aware that your files may be in different locations if you are running on a Mac.
