The Newgen/Regen Generation Dates

I thought if we had a thread listing all the youth generation dates, it might stop the inevitable threads that'll pop up over the course of the year. There was a thread for 09, but just incase they've changed or people don't search in the 09 section it may be best to have one here, too.

I'll be looking to update the thread with the dates and eventually sort them continentally and cronoligically.

It should be noted that these can change by a day because they aren't actually recorded by their date - they're recorded by what number of day they are in the year. Basically, I think they'll go back one day in a leap year.

Nice idea people, good to get it going early.

Kind of off-topic, how are people finding the regens on this game? Are they of better quality of worse than their 09 counterparts (in general)?

Won't Bosnia and Montenegro along with all the other created nations change depending on the creator of the .xml file? I created mine so the changeover date was the 20th.

Yes. I have just realised that the list is from FM09, but the dates shouldn't have changed too much

What do you people actually do with the regen dates? Do you scour around the database for each of these days? Doesn't that take days?!?

Yeah, I create 'notes' in-game telling me what countries regens are generated that day. Then I'll go through the nations clubs looking for cheap/free youngsters.

It's time consuming, but rewarding.

I had last years list from here as a bookmark - although I'd pretty much memorised what regens appeared when after a few months - glad to see they havnt changed

That list is last year's. We are just assuming they haven't changed because we haven't found anything to the contrary.

The Chinese date must have been changed for 2010.

Currently managing Tianjin and my new youth products have all come in on the 20th January.

Argentina needs to be changed to 1st July.

I was waiting to 1st August to scout Argentina and found out their regens we're generated on 1st July. Missed out on an awesome DM who's moved to Corinthians.

You can also use FM Genie Scout to find regens, can't remember whre to dl it, just google it.

The Argentina date on this is wrong.

I have noticed for the past few seasons that I have been looking at the Argentine newgens before August 1, and I am currently on July 16 and they are there.

Aye. And they're always told told it's the FM10 list and it should be largely the same. If I get time, I'll do an updated list.
