Home Grown Heroes Thread
English games are proving to be very popular in this thread, and these are the three I’ll be writing about. Firstly, a journey to Old Trafford to see how Vim is doing with Manchester United. As expected, in his third season with the club, the Red Devils won the league rather comfortably, also winning the Carling Cup on the way. Vim’s side reached the final of the FA Cup, but his side lost 4-3 after extra time to Liverpool. In Europe, Manchester United progressed to the semi-finals of the Champions League where they met Spanish giants Real Madrid. Unfortunately, they lost to Real and were knocked out of the competition.

Two seasons along the line, is tmage with his Tottenham Hotspur save. Like Vim’s Red Devils, Spurs won the league and Carling Cup, but also went two better. The impressive tmage also led Spurs to FA Cup and Champions League victories.
JH09 continues his save with Wolverhampton Wanderers, and his side has been growing stronger each year. This year, he led Wolves to 6th place and scored 90 goals- a feat the top four would be most proud of.

The French Football Thread
For those of you who haven’t been following the thread, at January Cearles was 3rd place with his Grenoble side. Impressive? To top it off, he finished 2nd at the end of the season. He also won the Coupe de la Ligue (French equivalent of the Carling Cup), and lost in the Quarter Finals of the Coupe de France 2-1 to Lyon.

Gialloblu - A Game of Succession
After last seasons Serie A win, it was up to Adramelch to manage up until the end of December. So far, he has done even better than last season, and Hellas Verona sit top of the table after 17 games, and are currently unbeaten. This thread is one to follow closely.

The Club and Country Thread
We’re taking a break from games in England, France and Italy, and moving on to hokster’s save. It is the season 2017/2018, and he is currently managing Dinamo Tbilsi and Georgia in the Soviet Top League. He joins Verona by being unbeaten- but finished the season like so. Dinamo Tbilsi finished 2nd in their Champions League Group, but met Arsenal in the 1st Knockout Stage. Having met Barcelona last year, luck has not been on Dinamo’s side. They went out to the English team admirably. Moving onto the national team, Georgia progressed to the final of the Confederations Cup and met France, where they lost 1-0. However, on a lighter note Georgia are top of their European Championship Qualifying Group, winning 6 out of 6.

A rare poster in the Club and Country thread, usually having his updates in the Managers Diary, chadock posted of his 2014 World Cup with Bosnia and Herzegovina. They topped their group, but met a tough opposition in the Second Round in Portugal and lost 4-4 on penalties.

The English Premier League Thread
Another game with Manchester United now, but this time in 2022/2023 with Indoctrin. He adds to the second unbeaten season I’ve written about this week, and the third if you include Verona’s start. Manchester United stormed the league, and also won the Champions League, FA Cup, and Carling Cup. It is also the second quadruple this week, alongside tmage’s Tottenham side.
