Hello and welcome to the first weekly review of the 'Your Game' section with me, Gez. Firstly i'll say that I hope you all had a great christmas and new year period, and here's to hoping that 2012 is a great year for us FM lovers.

We'll start with the Premier League thread, and with the most successful manager we have at the moment, Indoctrin. His Manchester United side are completely dominant, and he recently managed a season in which he won all 38 league games. Unbelievable stuff. Speaking of unbelievable stuff, how about NLawton winning the Premier League title with West Brom in his first season in charge. We also welcome back AndrewJames128 and Swansea to the thread. So far he has made some great progress. We also have new additions in CAFCIan75, and AE. The former has started strongly with his Wolves side, and AE will be sharing his progress with Wrexham.

The Spanish Thread has seen some good activity, although the notable absence of Bulfin and his strong Levante side. There are some very exciting saves taking place with lower league sides, including Crok with Real Jaen. His side have just won promotion after beating Alaves in the play-offs. Very strong work. Stouters is also making great progress with Athletico Madrid, although a 5th placed finish did little to please him.

The You Don't Win Anything With Kids thread is buzzing once more, and there are plenty of new saves just being opened. We also welcome Ratchet to the thread, as manager of Wolfsburg. We can also prepare for entertainment with Hokster, who has just started a save as manager of Southampton. Exciting times ahead for this thread.

In the homegrown heroes thread, Nick has joined as manager of Anji Makhachkala. He had a superb first season, winning the league, and its fair to say lots of the credit should go to Yury Zhirkov, who has been a revelation.

And that draws this first update of 2012 to a conclusion. Hopefully now that the festive period is over, we will see lots of new saves started across lots of different threads. From next week we will be having a 'Highlighted Thread of the week' update, so please feel free to comment on which thread you feel deserves some recognition. See you next week guys.
