Additional informationThe current Scottish First Division was formed in the 1975-76 season and is the highest division of the Scottish Football League. Previous winners of the competition include SPL stalwarts such as Hibernian and Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The First Division is a mixture of ex-SPL teams who have fallen on hard times and teams that haven’t been able to gain promotion in the relative big time of the SPL.
Take control of a previous SPL team (there are plenty to choose from!) and return them to the top table of Scottish football or take a more obscure but financially stable club up to play with the big boys of Scottish football. The last bastion of professional football in Scotland.
